What are the symptoms of Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm?
Most patients with TAA have no symptoms and the discovery of the aneurysm is serendipitous. Some patients will experience chest or back pain. If the pain is excruciating than it is usually associated with a rupture or dissection. In other less common situations, symptoms are often vague, such as shortness of breath, loss of consciousness, high or low blood pressure, heart rhythm irregularity, fluid or blood in the chest or a dull ache.
